22 April 2024, Mesilla, New Mexico, Steven Zimmerman—I’m going to do something different, and share with you a gallery of photos I’ve taken at the Basilica of San Albino.

The Basilica originally dates back to 1852, while they constructed the current Church in 1906. The Church is a peaceful oasis, excusing the tourists that wonder through, that draws you in for prayer and a moment to hear the still small voice of God.

The Basilica, when it was built, was in Mexico, but is now in New Mexico because of a transfer of territory in the Gadsden Purchase.

Basilica Days – June 29th The Cathedral of the Immaculate Heart of Mary is hosting a concert presented by Tedeum, on July 14th at 8:00 pm. Tickets are available for $10.00. Proceeds will benefit World Youth Day 2023. For more information, please call 575-332-4496. Homeless Ministry.
